Every Friday night at midnight, we cut off our web server logs and begin a new week.
Then, over the weekend, we process these log files to provide you with statistical information on how your web site was accessed for the last week. We also save the report of the previous week.
Emporium Accounts receive a report for their account by user or login name.
Private Domain Accounts receive one report for their TurnPike URL and one for their Domain Name URL. This allows them to see who is still accessing their pages with a URL of http://www.turnpike.net/~account or something similar.
Emporium Accounts that have upgraded to a Private Domain will want to promote the URL of their Domain and encourage people to update their bookmarks and use the new URL. Comparing the reports from the two different URLs will show the relative success of moving people over to the newer URL.
